Bloggers sometimes have sex on their minds.

One guy tells us what he needs and provides contact details (which I removed):

The post is typical of the blog in that it is lighthearted and short. The message is clear though.

Xanga is a weblog service and host. There are many different blogrings (groups) to join including "I LOVE GAY MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", "SEX IS MY SPORT!!!", and "gay 13 year olds".

The Internet allows us to express ourselves in many ways. It connects us with others who share our interests and gives us some anonymity. No wonder we act out our fantasies - or at least think about them openly.

Testing Meebo Me

Meebo Me is a cool widget that allows visitors to blogs and other websites to IM the site owner. I signed up with Meebo and created a widget which I added to the sidebar at Firemind.

I tested Meebo Me by opening Firemind in two browser windows. Each instance of Meebo Me was separate and private. Here is a screenshot of one of the conversations.



I have to be signed into Meebo to chat but that is okay. It opens up another level of communication with readers.

Working On The Blog (Email And Profile)

I wrote a post at Firemind and linked to this blog. I then came back here and worked on my sidebar and profile.

I originally added my "spam email" to my sidebar. I had to use an "HTML/JavaScript" page element and code in the 'mailto:' by hand. The regular "Link List" wouldn't work. After some thought I decided to add the email to my profile and delete it from my sidebar. I may add it later.

The email is my Fastmail account and I only check it once a week or so. If you have my Gmail then use that instead. I will give my Gmail out to friends.

I think my Profile is complete for now. I may add my AIM or another IM later on. I may add a picture too.

Introduction

Hi, my name is Leon and I am experimenting with the new beta version of Blogger. I have been blogging since 2003. My first blog was a "work project" for a volunteer job. It was a Blogger blog and and I learned a lot while it was in use.

I decided to start a personal blog called Firemind at Diaryland. I eventually moved it to Blogger and it is still my main blog. I will be writing my 1100th post soon. Sometimes I want to start fresh because Firemind is so big and has so many good and bad memories associated with it. Whenever I try other blogs and blogging services I find myself returning to Firemind. It just feels like my home on the 'Net.

The name of this blog is Braindance. I have used it twice before in Wordpress blogs. The name is whimsical and also fits my way of thinking. Sometimes My mind does seem to dance a jig when I get good ideas. :)



Come "dance" with me. I don't know what will happen here or how long I will stay. I will promise that things won't be boring.
